Linda ciccone weigand

owner /Director / choreographer

LINDA CICCONE WEIGAND IS THE MATRIARCH OF THE TLCPA DANCE FAMILY. SHE BUILT THIS BUSINESS WITH BLOOD, SWEAT, AND TEARS FROM THE GROUND UP. LINDA GREW UP IN A DANCE FAMILY, SHE AND HER TWO SISTERS WERE ALWAYS PERFORMERS. SHE BEGAN DANCING AT AGE 3 AND INSTANTLY FOUND HER PASSION IN LIFE. SHE WAS CLASSICALLY TRAINED IN ALL GENRES AND IN 1994 BROKE AWAY FROM HER FAMILY BUSINESS TO START HER OWN DANCE STUDIO WITH HER DAUGHTER.

THIS MOTHER DAUGHTER DUO IS ONE OF THE MOST NOTABLE TEAMS IN THE DANCE INDUSTRY IN RHODE ISLAND. SHE AND HER DAUGHTER, TRACY HAVE CULTIVATED A TRULY NURTURING, NON-COMPETITIVE DANCE ENVIRONMENT THAT WELCOMES ALL WHO WANT TO BE A PART OF THEIR DANCE FAMILY.  LINDA WAS DETERMINED TO HAVE A DANCE STUDIO THAT TREATED ALL HER STUDENTS AS IF THEY WERE FAMILY.  HER SUCCESS CAN BE SEEN IN THE LOVE HER STUDENTS HAVE, NOT ONLY FOR THE ART OF DANCE, BUT IN THE WAY THEY TREAT ONE ANOTHER AND THEIR PASSION AND DEDICATION TO THE STUDIO. THEIR LOVE OF PERFORMING, HAPPY SMILES AND CONFIDENCE IS A TESTIMONIAL TO LINDA’S AND TRACY’S PHILOSOPHY.

ALTHOUGH LINDA’S MAIN FOCUS IS ON RUNNING THE BUSINESS BEHIND THE SCENES, SHE STILL LOVES TO DANCE, TEACH, AND PERFORM. HER MOST RECENT PERFORMANCE WAS WITH THE MASTER COMPANY CLASS WHICH SHE ALSO CHOREOGRAPHED. THIS PERFORMANCE WAS A TRIBUTE TO HER MOTHER WHO WAS A BELLY DANCER AND PERFORMER. LINDA LOVES ALL FORMS OF DANCE AND SHE WILL CONTINUE TO TEACH ADULTS AND PERFORM WITH THEM IN THE UPCOMING YEARS.
